Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav launched the Ayush Suraksha Portal, a centralized digital platform to monitor misleading advertisements and adverse drug reactions (ADRs) related to traditional medicine systems such as Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Homeopathy.
The portal strengthens consumer safety by enabling real-time reporting, transparency in regulatory action, and coordination among bodies like CDSCO, CCPA, NCISM, NCH and State Licensing Authorities. The initiative aligns with India’s pharmacovigilance framework and Supreme Court directions for stricter oversight.
The portal covers all five traditional medicine systems under AYUSH: Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Homeopathy.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh approved Miniratna Category-I status for three Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs):
- Munitions India Ltd (MIL)
- Armoured Vehicles Nigam Ltd (AVNL)
- India Optel Ltd (IOL)
These DPSUs, carved out of the Ordnance Factory Board in 2021, have shown sharp revenue growth and export expansion. The upgraded status allows higher financial autonomy, joint ventures and faster decision-making, supporting India’s push for self-reliant defence manufacturing.
Miniratna status grants PSUs greater operational and financial autonomy. Category-I allows investments up to ₹500 crore without government approval.
The Odisha government introduced ANKUR (Atal Network for Knowledge, Urbanisation and Reforms) to promote smart, resilient and citizen-centric urban growth.
Built on pillars of capacity building, research, implementation support and innovation, ANKUR aims to prepare Odisha’s cities for rapid urbanisation and aligns with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

On World Emergency Day, AIIMS Bhopal launched the Code Emergency App under Madhya Pradesh’s “One State, One Health, One Emergency” framework.
The bilingual app offers:
- Offline CPR guidance

- Step-by-step medical response instructions
The app enhances public preparedness during critical situations.
Gujarat rolled out the Karmayogi Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, providing ₹10 lakh cashless medical coverage per family for:
- State government employees
- Pensioners
- AIS (All India Services) officers
The scheme operates through PMJAY “G” category cards and strengthens healthcare security for government personnel.
