WAVES 2025 Concluded with ₹1,328 Crore Deals — IICT Announced, WAVES Declaration Adopted by 77 Nations

The first edition of WAVES 2025 (World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit) was held from 1–4 May 2025 at Jio World Centre, Mumbai, organised by MoI&B in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra. The summit concluded with business transactions totalling ₹1,328 crore across various sectors.

Hyderabad-based Apollo Micro Systems Limited (AMSL), through its subsidiary Apollo Defence Industries Pvt. Ltd. (ADIPL), signed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire 100% equity stake in IDL Explosives Limited from GOCL Corporation Limited (Hinduja Group) for ₹107 crore (78.65 lakh shares at ₹136.04 per share).

Over 62,214 km of roads, 1,005 bridges, 7 tunnels, and 21 airfields. In FY24, BRO completed 125 infrastructure projects worth ₹3,611 crore. In 1985, the BRDB was reconstituted and placed under the chairmanship of the Defence Minister.
