Guarantee cover: 85% for loans β€βΉ10 crore; 75% for loans >βΉ10 crore. Managed by NCGTC under DFS/MoF.

CIDCO signed agreements with University of York (UK) and University of Western Australia to establish campuses at Educity, Navi Mumbai β each with βΉ1,500 crore investment. The Quad IPLN Tabletop Exercise (TTX) was held at Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS), Honolulu (28 April β 2 May 2025) β involving India, Australia, Japan, and USA. IPLN (Indo-Pacific Logistics Network) enhances shared logistics for civilian disaster response (cyclones, tsunamis, public health emergencies). Quad launched: 2007 (Shinzo Abe); revived 2017.

PMFBY β Scheme Structure and National Performance
PMFBY (Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana) and RWBCIS (Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme) together settled βΉ1,34,353 crore (97% of βΉ1,38,401 crore total claims) in FY19βFY24. Maharashtra alone accounted for ~24% of national claims. The scheme is managed by MoA&FW and provides financial support to farmers suffering crop losses due to natural calamities, pests, and diseases.

IPMDA β Quad’s Maritime Domain Awareness via Satellite
IPMDA (Indo-Pacific Partnership for Maritime Domain Awareness) is a Quad initiative using satellite technology to monitor maritime security and illegal fishing across the Indo-Pacific. Complements the IPLN (logistics network) for civilian disaster response. Together, IPLN and IPMDA represent the Quad’s civilian and security-focused cooperative infrastructure in the Indo-Pacific region.

Foreign Universities in India β UGC Framework & CIDCO Model
India’s UGC (Establishment and Operation of Campuses of Foreign Higher Educational Institutions in India) Regulations, 2023 enabled foreign universities to set up campuses in India. CIDCO’s Educity in Navi Mumbai is the first large-scale dedicated hub for international campuses. University of York (UK) and University of Western Australia each invest βΉ1,500 crore, signalling growing global confidence in India’s higher education market.
