India’s First Mahouts’ Village β Mudumalai Tiger Reserve
TN CM M.K. Stalin inaugurated India’s first Mahouts’ Village at Theppakadu Elephant Camp, Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, Nilgiris. Theppakadu is Asia’s oldest elephant camp (est. 1917). The village provides dedicated housing and welfare facilities for mahouts and their families who manage captive elephants.

The BichiaβMailani Vistadome train connects Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary (Bahraich) with Dudhwa Tiger Reserve (Pilibhit) on a 107 km forest route β India’s first Vistadome jungle safari train. Part of UP’s ‘One Destination, Three Forests’ initiative (Dudhwa NP + Katarniaghat WS + Kishanpur WS).

MSME-SCIP β MoMSME & Danish Patent Office Partnership
MoMSME partnered with DKPTO (Danish Patent and Trademark Office) under MSME-SCIP (Support for Commercialisation of Intellectual Property). Government bears 70% of costs; target: 2,500 innovations supported in FY26. Strengthens IP awareness and commercialisation capacity among Indian MSMEs.

6th World Hydrogen Summit 2025 β Rotterdam
The 6th World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition (May 20β22, 2025) was held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, organised by SEC and Rx Global. India’s Juno Joule Green Energy (Hyderabad) signed an MoU with Select Energy GmbH (Germany) to develop a green hydrogen and ammonia export facility at Mulapeta Port, Andhra Pradesh.

WOAH Report β 47% of Animal Diseases are Zoonotic
WOAH’s first State of the World’s Animal Health report found that 47% of notified diseases (2005β2023) were zoonotic β capable of crossing species barriers. Reinforces the One Health approach (animal + human + environmental health). Highlights urgency of integrated global disease surveillance to prevent future pandemics.
