It treats farms, food, and human health as a single ecosystem rather than three separate domains. At the same time, Moody’s downgraded India’s CY26 GDP forecast to 6.0% citing weak private consumption — and PLFS data showed urban unemployment still at 6.6%. The question is whether ministerial convergence on nutrition is sufficient when household incomes and food affordability remain under stress.
