Operation Kalanemi
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami launched Operation Kalanemi, named after a demon who disguised as a saint in Hindu mythology. The operation targets fake saints and religious impersonators exploiting devotees, particularly women, to protect social harmony and preserve Sanatana Dharma’s image.

Sindoor Bridge Inauguration
Mumbai’s historic Carnac Bridge (1868) was reconstructed and renamed Sindoor Bridge to honor Operation Sindoor, a military strike on terror camps. The 328-meter bridge, inaugurated on July 10, 2025, by CM Devendra Fadnavis, removes colonial remnants and decongests South Mumbai.

UNESCO Danger List Update
During the 47th UNESCO session in Paris on July 9, 2025, three African sites were removed from the World Heritage in Danger List: Rainforests of Atsinanana (Madagascar), Abu Mena (Egypt), and Old Town of Ghadames (Libya) following successful restoration efforts addressing logging, flooding, and war damage.

Telangana’s Battery Manufacturing Leadership

Kaushalya Program for Tribal Youth
Under agreements between NESTS, UNICEF, Tata Motors, and Ex-Navodayan Foundation, the Kaushalya Program provides job training to tribal students. Complementary initiatives include TALASH for career guidance and additional coaching for competitive exams like IIT-JEE and NEET.

India’s Shooting Championships Schedule
NRAI announced India will host Shooting World Cup in 2027 and World Junior Championship in 2028. Other events include Junior World Cup (Sept 2025), Asian Rifle & Pistol Championship (Feb 2026), and Shooting League of India (Nov 2025), strengthening India’s shooting sports infrastructure.
