6 GHz Band De-licensed for Wi-Fi
DoT de-licensed the lower 6 GHz band (5925-6425 MHz) for Wi-Fi services under the Low Power and Very Low Power Wireless Access System Rules, 2026. This enables Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 technologies in India.

Allied Orbits – India’s First Private EO Constellation
Allied Orbits consortium, led by Pixxel Space India, signed agreement with IN-SPACe under EO-PPP programme. Partners: Dhruva Space, PierSight Space, SatSure Analytics. First four satellites planned for orbit by Q1 2027.
