IndiaβDenmark Energy Cooperation MoU Renewed
The original India-Denmark Energy Cooperation MoU was signed on June 5, 2020 (5-year validity). The renewed MoU expands scope to power system integration, variable renewable energy, cross-border electricity trading, and EV charging infrastructure. Supports India’s net-zero target by 2070.

ALH Dhruv β Clearance Restored
ALH Dhruv is a 5.5-tonne, twin-engine multi-role helicopter developed by HAL, Bengaluru. Over 340 units manufactured. Clearance for Indian Army and IAF variants restored after recommendations by a Defect Investigation Committee. Grounding had prevented the Sarang Display Team from participating in Aero India 2025.

India improved to 151st (from 159th in 2024) in RSF’s World Press Freedom Index 2025, which ranks 180 countries. Topped by Norway. The UNESCO/Guillermo Cano World Press Freedom Prize 2025 was awarded to La Prensa (Nicaragua) for resilience amid repression.
