India’s First Integrative Oncology Centre at AIIA Goa

On the 10th National Ayurveda Day, the Ministry of Ayush inaugurated India’s first Integrative Oncology Research and Care Centre (IORCC) at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa.

UNESCO Recognition for Cold Desert Biosphere & New Ramsar Sites

The Cold Desert Biosphere Reserve in Himachal Pradesh has been added to UNESCO’s World Network of Biosphere Reserves during the 37th Session of UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere Programme (27 Sept 2025).

Milestone for Cheetah Reintroduction: Mukhi Reaches Adulthood

Mukhi, a female cheetah born in Kuno National Park on 29 March 2023, has become the first India-born cheetah to reach adulthood.

Shirish Chandra Murmu Appointed RBI Deputy Governor

Shirish Chandra Murmu has been appointed as Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India for a three-year term starting 9 October 2025.

He succeeds Rajeshwar Rao. Previously an Executive Director at RBI, his role is expected to bolster leadership and regulatory oversight.
