- Jio Financial Services Limited (JFSL) and Germany’s Allianz have formed a 50:50 joint venture (JV) named Allianz Jio Reinsurance Limited (AJRL) to expand into India’s reinsurance market.
- The IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) approved the venture, and the Certificate of Incorporation was issued on September 8, 2025.
- The JV started with an initial investment of ₹2.50 lakh, with each partner contributing 25,000 equity shares of ₹10 each.

- CPRI inaugurates advanced testing lab in Nashik
- Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar launched a state-of-the-art Regional Testing Laboratory (RTL) of the Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) at Nashik.
