  • With current investments closely matching those of Canada, India is swiftly advancing in the international AI innovation landscape, cementing its position among the top emerging AI hubs.

OpenAI Introduces ChatGPT Atlas Browser for macOS Users

  • OpenAI has unveiled ChatGPT Atlas, a cutting-edge AI-powered web browser for macOS that seamlessly integrates ChatGPT into everyday browsing.
  • The browser includes advanced features such as contextual assistance, built-in memory, and an Agent mode capable of performing user-directed actions like filling out forms, online shopping, and scheduling tasks.

India’s Retail Market Records Unprecedented Festive Sales Worth ₹5.4 Lakh Crore

  • During the 8th session of the Codex Committee on Spices and Culinary Herbs (CCSCH), international standards for vanilla, large cardamom, and coriander were officially finalized.
  • With these additions, the total number of Codex spice standards now stands at 19.
  • Formed in 2013 at India’s request, the CCSCH operates under the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) — a joint body established by the FAO and WHO to set international food standards.
  • Hosted by India’s Spices Board under the Ministry of Commerce, the CCSCH Secretariat functions from Kochi. While these standards are non-binding, they are recognized under the WTO’s Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Agreement, serving as the global reference point for food safety and fair trade.
