India and Kyrgyzstan exchanged the Instrument of Ratification for a new Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) in New Delhi.
The treaty replaces the 2000 agreement and aims to:

- Enhance economic cooperation between the two countries

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Chenab Railway Arch Bridge in Jammu and Kashmir, the highest railway bridge in the world.
